Mexico City.- An armed group attacked a vehicle this Sunday on Federal Highway 54, near the Villa de Cos Municipality, in Zacatecas, which left four dead and two injured, the State Security Spokesperson reported.
The authority specified that the attack perpetrated this morning was reported to the emergency number 911 and security forces were immediately mobilized to find those responsible.
“An organized crime group attacked a vehicle that was traveling on Federal Highway 54, kilometer 97 of the aforementioned Municipality, where there are four people who lost their lives and two injured, who were taken to receive medical care,” he said.
The State Attorney General’s Office carries out the expert investigations to determine the identity of the victims.
Local media report that it is a family of Colombian origin that resisted the theft of their vehicle, however, the authorities have not confirmed it.
