According to initial findings, around 20 small vans caught fire on a company premises in Berlin-Tempelhof. According to the police, the A100 city motorway was closed for a short time between the Tempelhofer-Damm and Oberlandstraße junctions due to the heavy smoke.

The fire brigade was with around 46 emergency services on the site in Germaniastraße and extinguished the flames, as a fire department spokesman said in the morning. The fires are now under control. Further details such as the cause of the fire and the amount of damage incurred were not initially known. (dpa)
