Daniel Yolan is 46 years old. At the age of 19, he graduated as a nursing assistant and has spent more than half of his life serving the health of his patients. In the last few hours, he recorded a video on Tik Tok with a six-year-old girl celebrating the last chemotherapy and it went viral.

He left his native Laprida many years ago and passed through Azul y Lobos, where he continued to perfect himself, until he landed in the City of Buenos Aires and currently works at Fundación Hospitalaria.

A few less than a year ago he met Milena, a girl with cancer who had to start chemotherapy treatment. “Since we saw each other there was a special connection between us. We spent very hard times with her parents, but the strength that this girl gave to everything deserved a celebration, ”she told TN.

The day Milena found out she was going to receive her last chemo, she told Daniel to record a video on Tik Tok. And so it was that together with the girl’s mother, the three were carried away by the music and celebrated the achievement.

“I had never recorded a video for Tik Tok, but as soon as he asked me, I said yes. It was a wonderful moment that I will keep forever. After so much time together we are family. Milena is a very strong girl. I have accompanied her throughout this time and her images give hope, ”she concluded.

In dialogue with Infobae, the nurse recounted: “Many emotions play a role because we know that the day will come, that it is time to go through the chemo, but that there are many still on the road. So, we have to wait and see what the result is on that journey because many things are going to happen with these little ones, whose red blood cells may drop, their white blood cells may go up, they may find infections, they can become neutropenic patients, who are going to be immunocompromised and always defenseless… In other words, they are going to go through a lot and one always sets the goal that everything goes well until the end of the last chemo”.

Daniel, moved, asserts that “to be able to say when the last day will be is to live with them that personal sensation, it is lived in the same way as parents, with whom an inevitable bond is created because in addition to caring for their children we are there for them , to contain them. This happens with all illnesses, you have to be a little bit of a psychologist too and when you see a small track of laughter, you have to share it with joy so that they feel good, happy”.
