“On August 14, 2023, at around 02:20 a.m., the Russian Federation Army – in violation of international law – launched an attack with S-300 ground-to-air systems against the town of Stepne, in the Zaporizhia district. », communicated the prosecutor’s office of said region through «Telegram».
“As a result of the impact of the missiles against an area of private homes, two residents died and a woman suffered injuries,” the institution added.
The injured 64-year-old woman has undergone emergency surgery and is now in intensive care, according to the governor of Zaporizhia, Oleg Buryak, in statements to the “Ukrinform” agency.
In the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ukrainian regional authorities, Russian forces attacked in ten regions, including Chernihiv and Sumy (north), Dnipropetrovsk (center), Zaporizhia (south), Luhansk (east) and Mikolaiv (south). ).
The bloodiest balance occurred in the Kherson region (south), where in the town of Shiroka Balka the Russian attacks ended the lives of a family of father, mother and two children, as well as another neighbor, and in Stanislav with those of a priest and one of his parishioners.
