La influencer Ruby Frankewhich came to the fore thanks to his YouTube channel, 8 Passengerswhere he publicly showed the care of his six children, has been arrested by the Ivins Police, in Utah, for two alleged serious crimes of child abuse and neglect. Everything came to light when one of the little ones escaped from the interior of the house to ask for help from one of his neighbors.
“The child ran to ask for help, as well as water and food,” says the statement from the Department of Public Safety. The agents, who also arrested Jodi Hildenbrandt, Franke’s partner, went to the youtuber’s home and found clear signs of malnutrition in two of the minors. In fact, one of the children was “emaciated” and with “visible open wounds” caused by duct tape.
Two of the children were rushed to one of the local hospitals., while the rest of the brothers became available to the State Department for Children and Families, better known in Spain as social services. A sector of the networks has expressed its agreement with this arrest, since they were aware of the behavior that the influencer had with their little ones. It is not the first time that the mother has received a complaint from the child protection service for this reason.
Shari Frankeeldest daughter of the influencer who is away from the family, celebrates the fact that justice acts for this negligence, but regrets that it was late after several years of struggle. “Today was a great day. My family and I are very happy that justice is done. We have been trying to inform the police for many years about this. We are glad that justice has stepped forward. The children are safe, but there is still a long way to go”, he assures.
