Almost two years after the formal request for trial by the prosecutor of the Investigating Court Three of Puerto Iguazú, finally the double parricide of Comandante Andresito, which shook the inhabitants of that town at the end of September 2019, will begin to be aired in an instance of oral and public debate in Eldorado. Precisely, the Criminal Court of the Capital of Labor will seat Alejandro Daniel Kirschner, a 24-year-old young man, as the sole person responsible for the shooting murder of his parents Hilario Kirschner (61) and his wife Mirta Sachser (54) starting tomorrow and for five days. ).

As requested by the prosecutor’s office that intervened during the investigation stage of the file for the case, the young man must answer for “double homicide aggravated by the relationship and by the use of a firearm, in a real competition with the possession of a firearm for use civil, without due legal authorization”, an accusation that provides for a life sentence in case of being found responsible in a future oral debate.

As detailed by judicial spokesmen consulted by this morning, the debate will begin at 8:30 tomorrow and if the process goes smoothly, it is expected to end next Thursday, February 23.

The double parricide of Kirschner and his wife Sachser, both yerba producers and ranchers in the northern part of the province, was discovered during the early hours of September 22, 2019.

The case was reported by a 44-year-old man who called the police because his nephew had told him that when he got home he found his parents dead.

The nephew he was talking about was none other than Alejandro Kirschner, the couple’s youngest son and who until then seemed like another victim of the situation, but soon ended up being under scrutiny as a possible perpetrator of the massacre.

The Police intervened immediately. He went to the house located in the middle of a large property located at kilometer 9, lot 62, section C, of Andresito. The scene was as follows: blood dripping from various points of the property, disturbed atmospheres inside the house and the lifeless couple on the double bed.

Everything suggested that it could have been an assault, but soon the indications changed the focus of the investigation led by detectives from the Homicide Department of the provincial force.

What began to cast doubt on that initial hypothesis was that there were no shortages of value found in the place and, coincidentally or not until then, the only place that was not disturbed was Alejandro’s room, who lived on the same property.

From there, the magnifying glass began to rest on the figure of the couple’s youngest son. The statements of other relatives and the inconsistencies in his account of him before the investigations ended up locating him as a suspect.

Relatives of the deceased did not hesitate to tell the Police that the relationship between Hilario and his youngest son had become conflictive as a result of the addiction problems that the boy suffered.

What was collected indicated that in recent times the man had cut off economic supplies and had restricted his son’s use of the Toyota Hilux truck as punishment, but also as a measure to keep him away from drugs.

These situations only strained the relationship and had already generated clashes in which Alejandro hit and even threatened to kill his father during a talk with an uncle who wanted to intercede in the situation.

Then, the researchers then sought to reconstruct the last movements of the young man to corroborate if his story had a footing.

The version that the now defendant told at that time was that he left his house on Saturday, September 21 at 5:00 p.m. and that he returned around midnight, running into his parents murdered at home.

In addition, he narrated that while he was leaving the house he ran over the family’s dachshund with the truck and that when he tried to help the animal, it bit him on the hand. With that he tried to justify the bandage he had and the bloodstains found at the scene.

The Police continued to investigate and could never find elements that would prove their version. He sought out his friends and acquaintances and they assured that they only saw Alejandro that Saturday at 10 p.m., so no one could know what he did or where the young man was between 5 p.m. and that time.

It is believed, then, that he was actually at home and during that time he committed the crime.

The last record of the victims alive is at 8:05 p.m., when Sachser sent a message to her cousin saying that she was cooking bread.

The entire investigation was carried out with caution, given the sensitivity of the case, but after a week the evidence was so strong that the Police requested the arrest of the young man and Judge Martín Brites, head of Investigating Court Three of Puerto Iguazú, authorized .

The continuity of the investigation ended up cornering the person involved more and more, who in the investigation chose to refrain from declaring. When passing through the court, all the witnesses ratified their statements made in the police investigation stage and the result of the expert tests ordered to be carried out paved the way for the investigation.

Hard evidence

The autopsies carried out determined that both victims were killed with two shots in different parts of the body, while the woman also had a skull fracture.

The evidence suggested that these shots had been fired with the 22-caliber rifle that Hilario kept in his room, presumably under the bed, but the weapon was never found.

The situation could mean complexity for the investigation, but the authorities in charge of the case found a way to certify that the massacre was committed with the victim’s weapon.

How they did it? The response indicates that the forensics extracted the leads found in the corpses and the policemen raked an area of the field where witnesses indicated that Hilario had used the weapon to kill an animal some time before. There they found served pods that were compared with the leads and the ballistics expertise marked coincidences.

Another key measure was the scientific studies carried out on the genetic samples found at the scene, where no third-party DNA was found.

What’s more, a profile compatible with Alejandro was found on the couple’s bed.

With all this incorporated into the file, the prosecution considered that there were no elements that could give rise to an alternative hypothesis and that everything collected severely compromises the son of the victims, for which reason they asked him to go to trial to respond to Justice.
