The actor Mitchel Musso, who rose to fame for his portrayal of Oliver Oken in the series Hannah Montana, was arrested last week and briefly jailed in Rockwall, Texas for aggressively stealing a bag of potato chips from a local establishment. Apparently, according to the official version, the actor who also gave voice to Jeremy Johnson in Phineas y Ferbentered a hotel drunk, took a bag of chips and began to eat it without paying for it. When asked to do so, he “became verbally abusive and left.” They immediately called the police, who accosted the actor on the street. and arrested him for “public intoxication and robbery for less than 100 dollars.”

Denies the facts

Openly, Musso categorically denies the facts and even describes them in a totally different way. “There was no robbery and he was not intoxicated. He’s just been unlucky, but it’s a big misunderstanding”, he assures in an interview published in People.

According to his version, he entered the hotel after four hours surfing without a shirt and in shorts. “This disgruntled employee, whose behavior was also inappropriate, ripped the bag of chips out of my hand and yelled at me for my clothing”, he recalls stressing that he wanted to pay for the bag of chips but, faced with the threat to call the police, he urged him to do so.

“It’s scary to be surrounded by thirty police officers. It is a terrifying situation. He had nothing to tell them, because he knew what was going on. They called me by my name, they knew who I was because this is my city, ”he later stated, opining that his famous status directly influenced the events. An event with which even Musso jokes. “In jail they gave me chips for dinner, so I got them for free in the end,” he settled.
