Adams County Police Chase: Search for Carjacking Suspect

DENVER, Colorado – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said it is currently searching for a suspect who fled from deputies in a stolen car Monday.

At around 12:45 p.m., the sheriff’s office tweeted that its deputies, along with officers from the Denver Police Department, were searching the area of ​​E. 38th and Walnut Street for a suspect.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies had attempted to pull over the suspect, who has only been identified as a male, while he was driving a stolen vehicle near E. 58th and Interstate 25. Deputies pursued the suspect, but lost him near E. 38th and Brighton Blvd.

As of 2 pm, the suspect’s name and description had not been provided to authorities.

The sheriff’s office asks anyone with information about this case to call 303-288-1535 or 911 if they see the suspect. Authorities are warning the public not to approach the suspect.
