While Apex Legends just set a new record for connected players on Steam with the arrival of the Season 16the mode Team Deathmatch seems to suffer from some problems that the developers have partially resolved with a quick intervention.

Here is the official press release from Respawn Entertainment posted on Twitter:

“Hello Legends! We are proud of the way you welcomed Team Deathmatch at the launch of Shambles. We have also listened to your initial feedback and are making some changes. We realized that the three-round matches were too long and, starting today, matches will consist of only one round. With the removal of rounds, we’ve also increased the number of kills required to win from 30 to 50.”

“Pending an interface update, the UI will be incorrect but it will only be a visual issue. As for future changes, we will introduce the possibility to end the game when all players on a team leave the game. We will also add a penalty for those who abandon matches, similar to what we saw in Control.”

In short, it is already possible to take advantage of the former changes that make games in this mode faster and in the coming weeks we will see the arrival of further measures.

In the meantime, we remind you that on our pages you will find the list of perks of the classes introduced with Season 16 of Apex Legends.
