Sony has just launched a new feature for the PlayStation Store that allows gamers to give personalized gifts.
Without warning, Sony has just launched a brand new feature that now allows you to offer fully personalized gifts for the PlayStation Store. The firm now gives us the possibility of customizing the PSN cards that we wish to offer ourselves by offering us personalization tools to create attractive digital gifts or in printable PDF format.
To personalize your own little gift yourself, just buy a PSN card from any retailer and retrieve the code and the amount.
You must then go to the page of the official site put online by Sony to choose one of the cards offered in the colors of popular games on PS4 and PS5 or related to the entire PlayStation universe. Then, follow the steps by entering the code, the amount or even a small personalized message before recovering your gift to offer in the form of a digital file. You can then download it, send it or even print it. The lucky winner of the surprise will only have to enter the code directly on the PS Store to take advantage of it.
Too bad the option arrives after the end of year celebrations.
For the moment, this new feature is not yet very extensive, but will certainly be updated in the future with new images and certainly more options.
After this first step, players now hope that it will soon be possible to send digital gifts directly to family or friends, whether codes to fill the online wallet, or a game directly purchased via the PlayStation Store, as it is for example possible to do on Steam. But for now, it doesn’t seem to be a priority for Sony.
