The name Asamoah Gyanthat footballer who missed the most important penalty in Ghana’s history in the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup after Luis Surez saved the ball with his hand when it was inside the net, has returned to the fore after being condemned by the justice system of his country.

The former Udinese, Modena and Rennes footballer, among other teams, has lost a lawsuit against Gifty Gyan, his ex-wife, after repeatedly acknowledging that her three children were not hers, but a DNA test has denied her all reason.

The court has sentenced Gyan to compensate this person with two houses, two cars, a gas station and 25,000 cedis. (2.000 euros) monthly for the maintenance of the little onesaccording to the BBC. One of the houses is located in United Kingdom and the other in Accrathe capital of Ghana, while the service station that he has to deliver to his ex-wife is part of his business empire.

A confrontation that began with infidelity

This sentence has ended a legal confrontation that has lasted more than three years when the former soccer player divorced Gifty due to rumors of infidelity. Gyan denied being the biological father of the three children, but a paternity test ruled in favor of the mother of the three minors.

The only thing that the convicted man has achieved has been to annul the marriage bond that both formalized ten years ago.. Before getting married, the couple had two children, and for this reason, the former soccer player bought a four-bedroom house in Accra, which from now on will be the property of his former wife.
