The final stage of the trial of the eight rugbiers accused of the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa can be followed live through the YouTube channel of the Buenos Aires Supreme Court of Justice. The transmission of these parts of the judicial process was authorized as a result of the social and media interest that the case reached. Thus, from this Wednesday, it will be possible to follow the words of the prosecution, the complaint and the defense before the judges Maria Claudia Castro, Christian Rabaia Y Emiliano Lazzari.
The test exhibition stage lasted for 13 days and ended on January 18. Now, this Wednesday starting at 9, the process is resumed with the arguments of prosecutors Juan Manuel Dávila and Gustavo García. He will be followed by lawyers for the victim’s family, Fernando Burlando, Fabian Amendola Y Facundo Amendolaas an individual victim.
Both the prosecutors and the lawyers will present the original accusation against the eight defendants for the crime of “aggravated homicide due to treachery and the premeditated cooperation of two or more people”, which provides for a life sentence of imprisonment. It is expected that they coincide in the accusation of the defendants as “functional co-authors” and, in case there is disagreement, they must determine who were the perpetrators and the eventual degree of participation of the other defendants.
