In keeping with the start of the new week, we look up together with you the current steam sales charts. There is currently an intense duel going on there between two well-known shooter brands for the top spot. At this point we will not only tell you who is currently there as winner emerges, but of course also present you the complete top 10.
Battle for the top of the Steam sales charts
Like last week, it’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive again on the throne of the current sales charts. However, there is now one with the battle royale shooter Apex Legends “new” pursuer on the second rank. The remake of Resident Evil 4, on the other hand, has lost some ground and is currently in third place.
Also worth mentioning is the appearance of the remake of The Last of Us Part 1, which despite the disastrous sales start was able to move up to seventh place. Also the darkly staged adventure game dredges by Black Salt Games made it into the top 10, while titles such as the racing game Forza Horizon 5 were knocked out. This is how the Steam sales charts are created
For the calculation of the current top 10 of the Steam sales charts was not previously the sheer number of copies sold of the respective games, but always the turnover achieved of the software or hardware sold. So, especially expensive products had an “advantage”. Meanwhile, however also Free2Play games taken into account in the calculation. The sales charts listed above refer to the period from April 3rd to April 9th, 2023. The charts presented by us are published weekly in one XML feed on Steam issued.
