Matamoros.- A man burned to death when the pipe he was driving caught fire after being hit by a vehicle.

The accident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on the Matamoros-Reynosa highway, when the driver of a Chevrolet Impala car crashed into the tractor-trailer.

This caused the unit loaded with antimony to overturn and catch fire, losing the life of the driver, who has not been identified.

The woman, identified as Johana Ríos, 48, and her nieces, 8 and 9 years old, respectively, were injured.

One of the minors flew out of the vehicle after the impact, so it is reported serious.

Paramerics from the Red Cross came to the scene, who took the injured to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, elements of the National Guard cordoned off the area of ​​the accident.
