Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 players have been eagerly awaiting the launch of the second season. Unfortunately, they will have to wait a little longer since a postponement was announced yesterday.
Season 2 is delayed
In a message posted on Twitter, the studio indicates that the launch of season 2 has been postponed. Initially scheduled for February 2, it is finally February 15 that it will be available in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.
Season 2 will launch on February 15. Our teams have made several changes based on what we’ve heard from our gaming community.
The studio then details the changes planned with the launch of this season 2, which will notably include new multiplayer maps, new weapons and new game modes.
Players will also be able to enjoy the return of Resurgence, as well as a new, smaller map for Warzone 2. Ranked mode will also return to Call of Duty Modern Warfare II.

Finally, the studio indicates that more details will be given next week. On the sidelines of the announcement of the postponement of season 2, he also indicated in particular:
