The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival reveals the list of films that will be released there and titles that will integrate the competitions. Some films we have already been advancing to you, as is the case of “Strange Way of Life”, the short by Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar with the main performances by Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke; and the tape “The Flower Moon Killers”de Martin Scorsese con Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Brendar Fraser y Lily Gladstone.
The event will run from May 16 to 27, and will begin with the screening of the film “Jeanne Du Barry”, which implies the return to the profession of Johnny Depp following his request to resign from the “Fantastic Beasts” movies, his controversial behaviors and the trial against Amber Heard.

The film stars and is directed by the French artist Maïwenn Le Besco and adapts the story of Madame du Barry, her rise to the aristocracy against prejudice regarding her social class and by force of her rebellion, and her romance with King Louis XV (Depp).
Among other outstanding titles, the festival -according to the information released by the specialized media Variety– proposes the first contact between filmmakers, actors, the public and critics of for example “Asteroid City”the latest from Wes Anderson that will star -faithful to his style- a cast of prestigious figures Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Scarlett Johansson, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Bryan Cranston, Hope Davis, Jeffrey Wright, Liev Schreiber, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke, Matt Dillon, Fisher Stevens, Jeff Goldblum, Sophia Lillis, Edward Norton, Steve Carell, Rita Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Hong Chau and Tony Revolori.
While another of the productions that stands out on the list is the controversial drama by Sam Levinson, “The Idol” starring Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Lily-Rose Depp.
