A driver who lost control of his car flipped over and brought down a utility pole early Wednesday morning in Revere, Massachusetts, sending two women to the hospital, according to city police.
The accident happened around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday on North Shore Road, which is also Route 1A and runs parallel to Revere Beach Boulevard.
Wires were downed on both sides of the road after the accident.
The two women were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Authorities said it appeared speeding may have contributed to the accident.
