The liberal referent Carlos Maslatón published an extensive release this Saturday on Twitter to inform that he will not finally compete for the Presidency because the national deputy decided that there is no STEP in Libertad Avanza and thus banned it. But despite the fierce criticism of Milei and her sister Karina – whom he called “Stalinist troika” and corrupt– He slipped that he will vote for the legislator as president, unless he arranges with Together for Change.

Maslatón questioned Milei’s salary draws
Without stopping in his fierce considerations, Maslatón said that the time has come to unmask the salary raffles that Milei receives as a deputy. In the last stretch of his statement, Maslatón summarized: “After the deadline granted to the Stalinist troika of La Libertad Avanza (Milei, Karina and Kikuchi) for the authorization of the PASO, I ratify that I do not put together a separate political project, that I did not migrate to the socialist axis of Together for Change, nor to the Frente de Todos, and that despite the impossibility of competing, out of loyalty to the original liberal ideas of La Libertad Avanza and to the militancy that still exists, I remain within of space faced with the corrupt and politically suicidal troika. That I will fight for internal democracy, that I will help the best candidates in the campaign and that due to party discipline my vote will go to La Libertad Avanza this year, unless Milei and Karina come down lists at the last minute to sell themselves to Together for Change, which will constitute for me an insurmountable political and moral limit”.
