Chihuahua, Chih.- Without providing the number of how many beneficiaries are missing to change plastics to the Welfare bank, the Welfare delegation through spokesperson Ismael Hernández reported that today, Wednesday, May 3, the campaign begins, which will run until the 31st of the same month, to older adults who still collect with Banorte, Azteca, Santander, HSBC Scotiabank and Afirme cards.
Beneficiaries must pick up the Banco del Bienestar card to continue receiving their payment; people will be able to locate the place and date to collect the card through the official page: gob.mx/bienestar, where it is necessary to select the icon of the pension for the well-being of the elderly, enter the CURP, and immediately your name, day, time and place where you must go to pick up the new welfare card.
While the change is made, the beneficiaries will continue to receive their pension on the current card, the federal agency indicated.
He recalled that there are 1,746 Welfare Modules available in the country that provide care from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to deliver the Banco del Bienestar card.
He stressed that the bancarization of beneficiaries will allow to strengthen the direct delivery and without intermediaries of the pension. To receive the welfare card it is necessary to present: current official identification with photograph, birth certificate, proof of address, recently printed CURP and cell phone number.
He explained that, with the Well-being bank card, older adults will be able to receive the pension and will not pay commissions for balance inquiries and cash withdrawals. Banco del Bienestar branches can be located here:
In the event that the elderly person cannot move to the corresponding Welfare module, a relative can bring the required documentation and schedule a home visit; Subsequently, identified personnel from the Welfare Secretariat will deliver the card to the person’s home.
It is important to remember that the card will be delivered personally to the beneficiaries. People must keep their previous card in their possession, because it is a personal account and they may have a balance or receive some other type of deposit such as their IMSS or ISSSTE pension.
Finally, it was indicated that those who received the pension through Banamex and BBVA Bancomer and have not come to receive the card from Banco del Bienestar, must go to the modules for people who are behind.
