The background to the work is the six-lane expansion of the motorway on the section between the Biebelried and Fürth/Erlangen motorway junctions, reports “A3 Nordbayern GmbH”.

In the Erlangen area, the expansion work has meanwhile also begun: In the course of this, the exit lane at the Connection point Erlangen-Frauenaurach adjusted in the direction of Frankfurt am Main.
That’s why it’s coming there from Thursday Blocking the exit ramp: The lockdown starts at 21 clock in the evening and lasts about until 6 o’clock on Friday morning.
