Bereaved by the disappearance of Paul Cattermole last April, the group S Club 7, has truncated its name to simply become S Club. The tour is also renamed, The Good Times tourin tribute to Paul Cattermole.

The S Club 7 are no longer 7. So they decided, on the eve of a new tour, the first since 2015, to rename themselves S Club. After the death of Paul Cattermole at the age of 46, and the departure of Hannah Spearritt, the S Club 7 are indeed only five.

This is what they explain in a video posted on Instagram on Sunday. Everyone testifies to the shock and sadness caused by the disappearance of Paul Cattermole

“Paul was a big brother to all of us. He was truly a unique human being. No one will ever replace our Paul,” says Bradley McIntosh

“Tributes to Paul”

“You noticed that there are only five of us today. And even though Hannah will always be a part of S Club 7, she will not be joining us for this tour. Anyway, the five of us are really looking forward to continuing . There will be tributes to Paul,” says Jon Lee.

Very moved, he also announces that the tour will be called “The Good Time Tour”, in reference to a song performed by Paul Cattermole. The tour will begin in October 2023.

The British group formed by Simon Fuller, the manager of the Spice Girls, enjoyed success in the late 1990s with hits such as Bring It All Back, Reach et Don’t Stop Movin’ .

He announced last February to reform after eight years of absence and leave all together for a tour. The original seven members Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara, Hannah SpearrittTina Barrett, Jon Lee and Rachel Stevens then answered the call.
