From 2003 to 2013, Tine Wittler was the face of the successful show “Einsatz in Vier Wanden”. Ten years after the end of the decoration show, she rarely appears in front of the camera.

In the craft show “Einsatz in Vier Wanden”, which was broadcast on RTL from 2003 to 2013, the team worked every weekday to help families who had applied on the show renovation or remodeling to help. The show was moderated by Tine Wittler, among others, who appeared there as a “living expert”. The format was so successful that in 2004 with the “German TV Award” in the category “Best Daily Show”. But in 2013 the show was discontinued due to weakening ratings.

Tine Wittler is today hardly ever in front of the camera to see. But she never gets bored. Responsible for this is her 200-year-old farmhouse in Wendland in Lower Saxony, to which she moved five years ago and where she can certainly use her experience from the show. But house spirit “Kalle” also keeps her on her toes, reports “bild.de“.

Tine Wittler lives a secluded life in a small village

Even though Tine Wittler used to live in the city, she now enjoys every day in her small village in Lower Saxony with just 48 inhabitants. In the “Homestory” podcast, which is run by moderator Jessica Stockmann and her daughter Nisha, Wittler revealed: “Today I’m no longer afraid of missing out. I have really wild years spent in Hamburg on the Kiez.” Then it was apparently time for a change of heart. Now Wittler, who has also tried her hand as a pub landlady, says: “That Maximum of residents is 48 for me. That’s the end of the road.”

After “Use in 4 Walls”: ex-moderator enjoys country life

Tine Wittler – quite the living expert – has her little house with her great attention to detail furnished. It is “maximally maximalist,” she explains in the podcast, adding: “There is something to discover and look at in every corner. I have something here from every decade of the last century.”

Despite the many things, Wittler usually keeps track of things. Because she knows: “If you assign every item in your household to a fixed place and put it back after use, you will never clean up again or have to search.”

Tine Wittler’s house spirit causes a mess

The house that Tine Wittler lives in with her cat seems to be really neat. Unfortunately, a resident of the house thwarts her plans from time to time – house spirit “Kalle”. You can actually rely on Kalle, reveals Wittler. “He lives in the attic and takes care of me.” But sometimes he also shows another side. “Of course he also likes to make fun of me and misplace things. So much for the topic of ‘never having to search again’,” says the presenter and adds: “It’s always Kalle’s fault, never me. If I’m looking for something, I know – there was Kalle at work.”
