Diablo 4 Season 1 already has a date: Sanctuary will expand with new threats and more news

Today marks one month since the launch of Diablo 4, the latest installment of the acclaimed Blizzard saga with which players from all over the world have not stopped annihilating demonic creatures from Lilith’s infernal army, but it is time to put the spotlight on new adventures. That is why Blizzard has introduced the Season 1 of the game.

With the name of Season of the Wicked, in it we will have to face a new threat that looms over Sanctuary, with events that take place after the main campaign. This will lead us to face a new type of corrupted creatures in the form of beasts, humans, demons and much more from the July 20th.

Among the novelties we can expect new dungeons to complete, new allied characters and above all new missions that will expand the story, since the season will be divided into a total of seven chapters with their corresponding progress, goals to meet and rewards to unlock.

The fight to end the evil that plagues Sanctuary will leave us with the confrontation against Varshan el Consumido, a new boss who gives the impression of being the cause behind the chaos that has been unleashed. In turn, defeating these evil creatures will earn you Evil Hearts for new powers.

And of course what will not be missing is the battle pass. As usual in any game that has one, it can be leveled up by playing non-stop and completing all kinds of tasks, although it has to be with characters that are created exclusively for this season, so it’s not others can be used.

While the battle pass will be packed with rewards of all kinds, many of them free, the vast majority will be unlocked by purchasing the premium version of the pass. At least it has been indicated that this will give access solely and exclusively to cosmetic items for the different classes or for the mount, so at no time will it affect the gameplay and it will not give any kind of advantage against the rest of the world.
