José Gilberto Gómez Baires was sentenced to eight years in prison after the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) verified before a judge that he sexually assaulted a minor in Santa Ana.

It appears in the tax file that on September 7, 2018, Baires assaulted a four-year-old girl; he made her minor enter her room to assault her, and when leaving the place, the victim told her mother what had happened.

The abuse was committed in the defendant’s home, located in the municipality and department of Santa Ana.

After said complaint filed by the mother of the minor, Baires was captured and was later taken to court where the Prosecutor’s Office proved the individual’s guilt.

The Second Sentencing Court of Santa Ana sentenced him to eight years in prison and the judge also ordered the now convicted person to pay $500 dollars as civil liability.
