It is not always easy to be a coach in The Voice. Zazie, who is back in season 12 of TF1’s telecrochet, confided in her link with the talents on the show.

This is the sixth participation of the 58-year-old singer in the flagship program of the One. Over the seasons, the interpreter of I am a man has accompanied and coached dozens of talents. But is she still in contact with them today? This is the question that Tele-Leisure asked him during an exclusive interview.

These skills of The Voice with whom Zazie has kept a link

“Of course, I have news of some singers who have been in my team”, assures the one who will tour French festivals this summer like her friend Florent Pagny. Among them, several talents from season 4, the first edition of Zazie on the coaches’ bench: “I’m still in contact with Guilhem Valaye And Lilian Renaud (the winner, Editor’s note). There is also Maelle (winner of season 7, editor’s note) or even Gjon’s Tears [de la saison All-Stars, ndlr] with whom I have just collaborated”lists the interpreter of I send waltz. The relationship between Lola Cahen’s mother and the show’s candidates sometimes goes well beyond her role as coach.

Zazie much more than just a coach for the talents of The Voice

“Sometimes coaches also have the role of psychologist”confides the singer who revealed the reasons for her return to The Voice. And to continue: “It can be hard to manage sometimes, for the talents as well as for us, so it’s important to keep a distance”she recalls. “We extend the relationship if the desire is there, but it is not systematic”concludes Zazie.
