Chihuahua.- The Ministry of Finance of the Government of the State of Chihuahua issued an alert addressed to the mayors and the general population, due to the appearance of a new false profile on this social network in the name of the head of this agency, José de Jesús Granillo Vázquez.
The account shows photographs stolen from the Internet, as well as the name and surname of the official (José De Jesús Granillo). For this reason, the dependency warns that this profile does not belong to or are managed by him or his work team.
Users have reported that, from the apocryphal profile, scammers promise users of the social network the delivery of support, in exchange for deposits or money transfers.
The Ministry of Finance reminds the population that money transfers or deposits are not requested as a condition to receive any kind of support from the State and this mechanism is not used to contact municipal presidents or the population in general.
In case you are contacted by a Facebook user with these characteristics, please report the profile as false and block it.
