The Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production issued a press release for clarify the rumors circulating on the granting of approvals for the exercise of the vehicle dealership activity.
The ministry stressed that it is thethe only body responsible for supervising this file and report any developments in the granting of approvals for new vehicle agents. To date, only three approvals have been granted to Fiat, JAC and Opel.

The ministerial joint technical committee responsible for studying and following up on new vehicle agent approval files is continuing its work in accordance with the regulatory provisions provided for, by meeting and by regularly processing all applications for approval submitted.
Finally, the ministry concluded by emphasizing that any other information disseminated by national newspapers or social media is considered false and unfounded.
A car loan program specifically for teachers
The National Social Works Committee for Education Workers (VIRTUES) announced the launch ofa vehicle loan program specifically for Algerian teachers in 2023.
This financial aid will thus enable many teachers to acquire new vehicles, in particular imports, for a maximum amount of 1,000,000 DA.

The project will be launched soon and the first wave of beneficiaries should include 30,000 teachers. CNOSTE is awaiting the entry of new import vehicles into the market and budget details from the Ministry of Education to launch the project.
Finally, this initiative aims to facilitate access to new cars for workers in the education sector who have financial difficulties.
