– It becomes drama when twelve very different people meet in that way. Maybe that’s how it should be, says hairdresser and entrepreneur, Christopher Mørch Husby, to Good Morning Norway.
On Tuesday, it will be ready for the seventh season of Farmen celebrity on TV 2, where twelve celebrities leave the present to live the farm life. An existence not everyone was equally prepared for.

Surprised by the drama
Because it won’t take long before the drama occurs inside the farm, which surprised Influencer Malin Nesvoll.
– I was surprised because it happened so quickly. I felt like I had only been there for half a minute before the drama began. I just thought; “Shit, are we there”. It was early, but then there is usually drama inside the Farm.
Another recent tenant is Aslak Maurstad, actor and screenwriter. He also admits that the social transition was abrupt, but sees the concept as a good recipe for something completely different from drama.

– What was a bit fun was gathering so many people without mobile phones. Then you have to become friends, because you only have each other. It’s really a recipe for getting known very quickly, says Maurstad. He continues:
– There was so much, it was also fun, but there were so many things to deal with and no matter how long you were there, you were exposed to quite a few hard things, but also many nice things.
Maurstad also felt the challenges of life and points in particular to snoring as a relevant topic early on during his stay.
– You have to lie quite intimately. There are only double beds and almost everyone sleeps in one room.
Maurstad explained that there was a separate, slightly smaller house dedicated to those who made the most noise.
– It was for those who snored, but it didn’t turn out quite like that, because there was someone in the main house who should have been in the snoring booth.
One of those who ended up in the snore-booa was Nesvoll.
– People didn’t want to admit that they snored, but I ended up there and it would pay off! The beds were lovely and it was much quieter, she says.
Shocked at the workload
For the three tenants, sleep was to be important. They all describe a tremendous workload, which Nesvoll had not expected.
– I imagined that we would enjoy ourselves more, but that was as far as I could say “good morning” before I had to go to work.
Husby and Maurstad were also surprised.
– We worked from day to night. Before I came in, I thought it would be a lot of fun, but there was little time to bask in the sun, says Husby, before he continues:

– I’ll be honest and say that I think it was absolutely terrible! It was incredibly hard. I felt like I was in a labor camp, and it didn’t get better – there was just more to do. It was always hoped that the production would do something fun, but it just became more and more work.
He also emphasizes a desire to master the tasks.
– I don’t see any of us as lazy, that’s why it was hard. We wanted to make an effort and went for it.
Maurstad tells TV 2 that he took extreme measures before the stay, but agrees and admits that it was tougher than expected.

– I think everyone was shocked by how hard it was. You were probably prepared that it would be tough and that we would have to work, but maybe not that hard, he says and sums it all up for Good Morning Norway:
– There was a rich experience.
