The entertainment and music industry continues to generate peculiar and striking stories on social networks. One of these was recently recorded at the concert of the K-Pop band, Blackpink, who gave a great show at the Foro Sol in Mexico City, and where a family man was caught by the attendees working on his laptop, while their children enjoyed the show.
Currently, the music sector generates a large number of money for all those involved, but in recent years a new genre has emerged, which is K-pop, music originating in South Korea, and which according to data from this government contributes more than 10 billion dollars to its economy.
In this sense, according to data from the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, approximately 42.5 percent of the participants stated that K-pop was highly popular beyond South Korean borders.
Likewise, data highlights that K-pop is a global icon, and according to UNAM Global, this generation reinforces the country brand of South Korea, promoting the word Korea “in the world.
The history
This past April 26 and 27, the group Blackpink was presented at the Foro Sol in Mexico City, leaving some exhausted and unforgettable shows for those present.
Given this and like any musical event that has taken place in Mexico, it generated endless content on social networks, but one in particular drew attention.
Through a video on TikTok, the story of a father of a family who was working with his laptop and Excel tables, while waiting for his children who were enjoying the event, was revealed in the middle of the concert of the group.
In the viral video you can see how in the waiting room of the Foro Sol, the man was working hard while the concert was taking place.

In the video shot, it was possible to see how other parents were in the room waiting for the event to end to meet their children.
As expected, the post generated several comments and 200,000 interactions. “Yesterday I had to see all the parents waiting for their children, some of them almost sleeping”; read in a comment.
“Parents are billing for their children to enjoy their stages, which is why it also entails bringing a life into this world,” wrote another Internet user.
It is not the first time that a concert leaves this type of video on networks, since most of the events that have been recorded in Mexico after the Covid-19 pandemic have been a key point in the content that people share on their accounts on various platforms and that manage to go viral and open various debates.
