A multi-victim shooting that occurred Wednesday in Fort Lauderdale has brought together several Broward police units, which at this time are responding to a reported emergency in a neighborhood.
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department said officers were investigating in the area of northwest 19th Street and 29th Avenue.
According to preliminary information, at approximately 8:40 p.m., a group of people gathered in an apartment complex were confronted by a second group, and after the exchange, gunshots were fired.
At least five people would be hospitalized, but for the moment no information has been released on the health condition of the injured.
Other details about the alleged shooting, the possible victims and their identities are unknown.
