International goalkeeper Alexandre Okidja has extended his contract at FC Metz for two more seasons. He is now linked with the Messin club until 2025.

At FC Metz since 2018, Alexandre Oukidja will indeed continue the adventure with the club for two more seasons. Indeed, he has today extended his contract until 2025.

Good news for FC Metz which has just shielded an important and experienced element within the team. This is part of keeping the backbone of the team in order to quickly move up to Ligue 1 Uber Eats.

Passed by Gueugnon, LOSC, Bayonne, Mouscron (Belgium) and Strasbourg, Oukidja arrived on the banks of the Moselle in 2018, when the club had just descended to the second division. Author of 19 clean sheets in 38 games – game without conceding a goal, the one who has 6 selections for the Greens has greatly contributed to Messina’s rise in the elite. In four and a half years, the international goalkeeper has played 149 games.

Chafaï extends his contract with Damac

Damac SC international defender Farouk Chafaï has also extended his contract with his club for two seasons, until 2025, the Saudi club announced this morning.

Note that Chafaï (32) has been playing in the Saudi league for three years. He joined Damac SC in January 2020 from Mouloudia in Algiers. He has managed to establish himself as an essential element within his team, with which he should end his career since he will be 35 in 2025.
