Matamoros, Mexico.- A fire of two fuel-laden pipes caused the mobilization of elements of the State Guard, Firefighters and rescuers, in Matamoros.
The fire, which started around 7:30 p.m. today, was reported in a lot located on the Matamoros-Reynosa Highway, at the height of Ejido Las Rusias.
Inside the facilities there are other pipes and several tractor-trailers, so there is a risk that they will be hit by the flames.
Elements of the Fire Department are working to extinguish the fire, while agents of the State Guard closed the passage of vehicles through the area due to the risk situation.
So far, no people have been reported injured in the fire.
The column of smoke emanating from the incident is seen from various points in Matamoros and even in the Texan city of Brownsville.
