The approval rating of the government of Chili collapsed after the controversial pardons that divided the politics of the trans-Andean country at the end of last year. Of all those interviewed, only 25% think that Gabriel Boric manages the nation in an adequate way, while 70% disapprove of him.

It is the lowest rate since he took office.

This arose after a report published by the consulting firm Plaza Pública, in which it was revealed that the majority of the citizens of the neighboring country are against pardons in general terms. On the other hand, 81% do not support the presidential pardon given to Jorge Mataluna, who was imprisoned before the social outbreak that led to the writing of a new Constitution in Chili.
