Young people attacked children again in Gelsenkirchen. This time the crime scene was in the castle park in Horst near the playground.

Young people attacked children again, this time on Saturday, May 6, at around 6.30 p.m. in the castle park in Gelsenkirchen-Horst on the playground there. Two youths had blocked the way of a group of three eleven and one twelve year olds and demanded cash from the eldest. In order to emphasize the demand, one of the perpetrators is said to have shown a knife pommel in his jacket pocket.

When the 12-year-old from Gelsenkirchen did not follow the request, one of the perpetrators gave him a headbutt and he was also said to have been hit with his fists, the attacked police said. After that, the youngsters let go of the children and left without taking anything.

The witnesses and the injured party described that the perpetrator conducting the conversation was male, between 14 and 16 years old and fat. He also had black hair and dark skin and wore a white jacket. The second perpetrator, who is said to have had the knife in his jacket pocket, was also male and around 14 to 16 years old. He had curly brown hair and was wearing a kepi and a white jacket.
