Getafe terminates the contract with Cabaco

Madrid, Aug 1 (EFE)

The entity chaired by Ángel Torres has reached an agreement with Cabaco to end a relationship that never came to fruition after his signing in the middle of the 2019/20 academic year. Then, Getafe paid about 8 million euros to Levante for a central defender who came to replace his compatriot Leandro Cabrera.

In total, Cabaco has played 37 official matches for Getafe and was loaned to Granada last season, where he was not a fixture in the line-ups of a team that was promoted to the First Division.

“Getafe Club de Fútbol and Erick Cabaco separate their paths. From the entity we appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the footballer during the seasons that he has worn the blue shirt, and we wish him luck in this new stage of his professional career”, said Getafe through an official statement.
