The Cygames guys said goodbye to 2022 anticipating great things for the year that has just begun, which seems to be the good one for the long-awaited one Granblue Fantasy Relink.
With a post published on Twitter yesterday 31 December 2022, the Japanese developers wished all players a happy new year, confirming that Granblue Fantasy Relink development is nearing completion. They are currently engaged in the finishing work with the aim of improving the final quality of the production, therefore it remains fully confirmed the launch window set for 2023 on PlayStation 4, PS5 and PC via Steam. They also took the opportunity to show us the latest trailer for the game (you can find it at the bottom of this news) and give us an appointment again at Granblue Fes 2023, which will take place in Tokyo from 20 to 22 January. During the Granblue Fantasy Relink event it will be present in playable format, also on January 21st will be featured in a presentation during which new information will be revealed: is the announcement of the final release date about to arrive?
Luckily, we won’t have to wait many more days before we find out what Cygames has in store for us. Announced exclusively for PlayStation in the now distant 2016, Granblue Fantasy Relink initially saw the participation of PlatinumGames. The Osaka development team left permanently in 2019, leaving Cygames alone with the task of completing the work. The PlayStation 5 version was confirmed at the end of 2020, while the PC version of Granblue Fantasy Relink was announced at the end of 2021. The 2022 launch window was unfortunately not respected, therefore the game is now expected in 2023.
Granblue Fantasy Relink is an action RPG that takes players through the Realm of Heavena magical place where islands of infinite shapes and sizes float in a sea of clouds, in the company of the protagonist duo composed of Gran and Djeeta, joined by a large cast of allies and companions.
