The Police arrested a 35-year-old man who was denounced by his partner for assaults in the context of gender violence. The last event occurred in 39 between 18 and 19, when the defendant forced his way into the victim’s apartment and punched her in the ribs and face in front of her 4-year-old son.
Police sources indicated that the defendant locked the woman inside the apartment and managed to escape with the help of the neighbors, who heard his cries for help and called 911.
Agents from the Fourth Police Station of La Plata appeared at the scene and found the attacker inside the building. He was quickly apprehended and taken to the police station. The woman, for her part, was assisted by the authorities.
The case was left in the hands of UFI No. 15 and was labeled as “home violation, illegal deprivation of liberty, injuries and aggravated threats in the context of gender violence, attack and resistance to authority”.
