Juarez City.- A man from Chiapas who had an arrest warrant pending for the crime of homicide was captured on Saturday by municipal police officers, reported Adrián Sánchez Contreras, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Security (SSPM).
The official pointed out that policemen who were carrying out surveillance work in the Eco 2000 neighborhood, noticed that in the streets of Oso Polar and Santiago Troncoso, there was a man committing an administrative offense by urinating on public roads.
They approached him to carry out an inspection and upon verifying his general data in the Plataforma Juárez System, it was learned that 30-year-old Erick LG had an arrest warrant in force against him for the crime of manslaughter, issued on January 28. of 2022, in the State of Chiapas.
After reading his rights, the now detainee was consigned to the State Prosecutor’s Office in the Northern Zone, which will be in charge of delivering him to his similar in Chiapas.
