Monterrey.- After starting a fire with the intention of burning down his house and fighting with a neighbor, a man was arrested this morning in the Los Fresnos neighborhood, in Apodaca.
The events occurred shortly after midnight, at a home located near the intersection of Encino and Álamo streets, in the fourth sector of this neighborhood.
At the scene, a man who was identified only as Gregorio, and who was apparently intoxicated, kicked a meter and started a fire to burn down his house.
Subsequently, the man clashed with a neighbor who was trying to quell the incident to prevent it from spreading to the other neighboring houses.
At that moment, elements of Civil Protection and Firefighters arrived, who put out the flames and controlled the fire, while elements of the Municipal Police detained the man.
Neighbors pointed out that weeks ago this same man, who apparently suffers from depression, had already tried to set his home on fire but this time he managed to make the flames reach a height of more than three meters and caused the mobilization of rescue teams.
