The pair sometimes practice Veronica’s acting lines together to help her memorize them. “Then she often says: ‘Listen to me’,” revealed Carsten in an interview with “T-Online”.
Although they are both very busy and work in different areas, Carsten and Veronica seem to have a happy and successful relationship. This also includes being interested in your partner’s job.
To help Veronica prepare for her roles, Maschmeyer speaks to her even after the script after a long day. “Then she gives me the script and the dialogues are colored in two colors. One for her, one for me,” explains the investor.

However, the “Lion’s Den” star does not seem to have developed an acting talent – at least that’s what Veronica says. “No, it’s just about learning by heart,” Carsten clarifies. “I couldn’t help her with the acting anyway, she thinks I’m very talented as an actor. She thinks it’s more fitting that I do reality TV,” jokes the entrepreneur.
Carsten Maschmeyer and Veronica Ferres have been a couple since 2014 and got married in the same year. Both are well known in the German entertainment industry – Carsten as a successful entrepreneur and investor in the “Lion’s Den”, Veronika as an international actress.
In interviews, they have repeatedly emphasized that they have a happy relationship based on trust and respect. “I’ve never been so in love,” Maschmeyer enthused about his wife at the beginning of the year.
