An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect this Friday for the north and west of Puerto Rico, from Carolina to San Gemán.
The National Weather Service indicates that indices of 112F or higher are expected.
In the afternoon, showers are expected in the west. Meanwhile, for this weekend, it could rain in the mountains and half west.
