The Cloud Native Festival by the community for the community invites you to take part again in 2023. After the successful premiere in Phantasialand near Brühl last year, the initiators around the DCNC (German-speaking Cloud Native Community) – an association of independent communities, user groups and meetups from Germany, Austria and Switzerland – now CloudLand 2023 put on the way. The festival will take place from June 20th to 23rd, 2023 and anyone who wants to get actively involved can do so until January 31st Call for Participation (CfP) do.

As a community festival, CloudLand deliberately differentiates itself from classic conferences. There will also be lectures on the central cloud topics “Container & Cloud Technologies”, “Microservices & Domain-driven Design”, “DevOps & Methodology” and “CI/CD & Automation”, but interactive ones are particularly sought after formats. From hands-on sessions and workshops to collaborative cloud programming to moderated discussions for beginners and experts, there are no limits to creativity. At the bar camp at the start of this year’s festival program, participants determine the content and topics of discussion – true to the motto of an un-conference. The Barcamp offers the opportunity to exchange experiences at eye level, also with tried and tested representatives from cloud user companies such as Allianz, who have already confirmed their participation.

Participate in the Call for Participation until January 31st!

The Call for Participation also welcomes playful challenges (escape room, capture the flag, etc.) and entertaining shows – even artistic performances are expressly encouraged. If you want to be inspired for your CfP submission, finds many ideas, but also already planned interactive formats on the CloudLand website.

In 2023, the Cloud Native Festival will continue the highlights of the past year. Around 400 enthusiastic participants gathered for the premiere in summer 2022, who took part in over 150 interactive sessions (the Cloud Native Innovation Lab, lectures, workshops, keynotes, Cloud Customer Stories and the Microsoft Azure Adventure Day) on cloud native topics for learning, experience exchange and use the knowledge transfer. Of course, networking and fun were not neglected either – with the evening program of Geek Night, Game Night and the big party at Summer Night.

But CloudLand 2023 will go one step further. The organizers are therefore looking forward to many participants and helpers from the community. If you want to stay up to date on the further progress of the Cloud Native Festival, you can always find it current information on the website as well as using the hashtag #CloudLand2023 on social media such as Twitter and mastodon.

Anyone who would like to secure participation in the festival today can do so until May 9th Early bird tickets get hold of
