Hi-Fi RUSH: signs for a few months already
The name Hi-Fi RUSH has been circulating in some circles for several weeks now, and it was released publicly last December on the Jez Corden and Rand al Thor 19 podcast.
The name “Hi-Fi RUSH” had also been registered by Zenimax (Bethesda) in 2020 and a logo (above) was released last October.
Today, leaker billbil-kun shares his information by confirming the name of the game developed by Bethesda’s Tango Gameworks studio. According to him, the game is rated PEGI 12 and will be released in standard and Deluxe versions. The fact that he only has this information now shows that the announcement is probably very close.
When we know that the January Xbox conference is scheduled for tomorrow, hard not to imagine a reveal of the game at that time, or even a release directly in the Game Pass. Journalist Jeff Grubb had also mentioned a new game of a similar scale to that of Pentiment (understand a “small project”) which would be announced at the Xbox event at the beginning of the year. Hi-Fi RUSH seems to tick all the boxes.

The name “Hi Fi” is clearly marked on one of the images shared by the artist with an artistic direction dominated by the color orange. A character holds a weapon in his hand, which makes one think of a shooting game.
A since-deleted Reddit post mentioned a rhythm fighting game in the graphic style of Jet Set Radio supposed to be released in fall 23 on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, but there was no source to verify the information or not.
