In the course of a collision between two skiers on Tuesday, a 56-year-old was seriously injured. The police are looking for witnesses to the accident.
A 56-year-old woman drove up the mountain on Tuesday around 11:20 a.m. in Lech with her daughter on the “Hasensprungbahn”. Another female skier and her companion also rode in the six-seater chairlift. When it came to getting off at the mountain station, there was a collision between the two skiers. As a result, both mother and daughter fell, and the 56-year-old suffered serious injuries. Irrespective of this, the other skier continued the journey together with her companion without stopping.
Police call for witnesses
The previously unknown person involved in the accident is a 30 to 40-year-old and relatively large woman in a mint-colored ski suit. Due to her athletic build, she could be a freerider. The skier who was directly involved in the accident, her companion and any other witnesses to the course of the accident are asked to report to the Lech Police Inspectorate (+43 (0) 59 133 8105).
