HOUSTON – With the arrival of high temperatures in the Houston area, Mayor Sylvester Turner announced the opening of 12 centers throughout the city where people who need to cool off can do so.

Everything will be the centers will be open all week, as temperatures are expected bordering or above 100 degrees.
