Two years after the death of Willi Herren, 45, his widow Jasmin Herren, 44, shows her new boyfriend. In an interview with “Bild” she revealed that she is in a relationship with her young hit colleague Philipp Bender, 23. The couple will even be seen together in a reality TV show soon.
Jasmin Herren: “I’m blossoming and I’m a new person”
In May, Jasmin Herren had already spoken about the fact that she had been seeing a man again for a month. She did not want to reveal any details at the time. Now she says: “Now the hide-and-seek game is finally over. I’m blossoming and a new person since he’s in my life. We love each other very much.” The couple met through work, he wrote songs for her, she filled in for him as a sound engineer. In May, the duo released their first Malle song together, “We’re drinking again.”
The age difference doesn’t bother them
At the time, however, they kept their private happiness a secret for a reason: “At first it was frightening for us, also because of the age difference. First I wanted to give him the opportunity to get to know my life. Of course it’s not easy to have a relationship with me to lead because I’m in the public eye.” In the meantime, however, the 21 years no longer seem to be an issue: “Philipp is very far in the head. We are both 35 for us.”
The singer hopes to have found a long-term partner: “He is a calm, relaxed and considered character. Philipp brings me back to the carpet. He can handle it when I’m impulsive and spirited.” She also enjoys the fact that the student takes care of her: “I take a shower and the kitchen is clean, I have to get used to it first. This is new territory for me.”
The couple takes part in reality TV show
How well they really harmonize, they want to prove in the reality show “Forsthaus Rampensau Germany” (Joyn). Nine celebrity couples will live in a forest house in Austria in winter. The concept is similar to the “Summer House of the Stars” (RTL), which Jasmin Herren is very familiar with: In 2019 she took part with Willi Herren.
Filming for the new show is expected to take place at the end of the year. “If Philipp If you don’t feel like going public after the show, that’s fine. We haven’t even argued. Maybe it’s time in the forester’s lodge,” emphasizes Jasmin.
