JobRad GmbH

Freiburg (ots)

On April 23, 2023, the Dr. Stoll & Sauer Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Lahr, incorrectly informed via OTS that there had been a data leak at JobRad GmbH. It is correct: The data protection incident did not occur at JobRad GmbH, but at an IT service provider of the cooperating leasing company MLF Mercator-Leasing GmbH & Co. Finanz-KG. JobRad GmbH is not responsible for the data protection incident. The systems and portals of JobRadGmbH were secure at all times. Unfortunately, some customers of JobRad GmbH are also affected by the incident. These were immediately written to by JobRad – on behalf of MLF Mercator-Leasing.

MLF Mercator-Leasing informed the responsible data protection authority and the police about the incident in a timely and comprehensive manner and is working closely with them to clarify the matter. The investigation by the law enforcement agency is ongoing. As a precaution, JobRad GmbH also reported the incident to the authority responsible for it in Baden-Württemberg.

A statement from the management of JobRad GmbH on the incident can be found here:
