A 30-year-old man died this afternoon after being involved in a road accident with his motorcycle in the town of El Soberbio.
The fatal victim was identified by the Misiones Police as Marcio Camardelli (30), who was driving a Honda 125 and who collided head-on with a Fiat Fiorino.
The incident, according to police sources, occurred last night on Provincial Route 2, near the Barreriño area and the motorcyclist died in the last few hours as a result of the serious injuries sustained. For their part, the occupants of the truck were unharmed.
At the scene of the accident, the personnel of the Scientific Police carried out the corresponding skills and a breathalyzer test was carried out on the driver of the truck, which yielded a negative result. In addition, the vehicles involved were seized.
Around 4:00 p.m. today, the Hospital de San Vicente reported the death of the motorcyclist. For its part, the San Vicente Investigating Court Three ordered that the body be handed over to his relatives, the spokesmen added.
