The New Faces Awards from “Bunte” were presented in Berlin on Thursday. The female stars in particular had thrown themselves into extravagant creations for this.

Before the German Film Prize is awarded on Friday, the best up-and-coming talents in the industry were chosen. For the 25th time, the magazine “Bunte” invited to the New Faces Awards in Berlin on Thursday evening. That meant at the same time: Showing in front of the Delphi Filmpalast.

In addition to film stars, there were also plenty of models, influencers and TV faces on the red carpet. The women in particular showed a lot of skin in spring-like temperatures. Transparent fabrics provided special eye-catchers. Actress Janina Stopper, whose top gave a clear view of her décolleté, also relied on this.

In addition, the series actress combined high-cut leather pants – and thus covered another trend of the evening. Many other celebrity women had also chosen lacquer and leather for their appearance in front of the photographers.

Model Noella Mbomba showed her semi-transparent dress down to her underwear. Her colleague Annika Gassner had opted for a close-fitting, high-necked dress in black lacquer.

Musician Lary only wore a tight bra with pants under her long leather coat. Netflix star Paula Kalenberg combined a short, sleeveless vinyl dress with a zipper strip with tights and ankle boots. Natalie Avalon wore an animal print blazer with the trend dress.

Actually, the evening wasn’t about the looks, but about the performance of the newcomers. The actress Bayan Layla and the actor Levy Rico Arcos were honored with the film award as young talents this year.

They cleared the prizes

Arcos received the award for his role in the coming-of-age drama Sun and Concrete. “Authentic, powerful, full of energy and absolutely believable at the same time,” the jury praised his work. The film is based on a book by comedian Felix Lobrecht and tells the story of growing up in Berlin’s Gropiusstadt.

Layla was honored for her role in the drama “Elaha”, the film by Milena Aboyan was also awarded Best Debut Film. It is about “the emotional needs of a young woman, about sexual self-determination and about a clash between cultures”. The jury spoke of a “sensational acting performance”.

A special prize went to Felix Kammerer for his role in the anti-war drama “Nothing New in the West”. The jury recognized him as one of the greatest talents in film and television. Rapper Ebow, whose real name is Ebru Düzgün, was also honored.
