The police are looking for a senior citizen and a baby in Berlin with a large contingent. This was confirmed by a police spokesman on Tuesday evening when asked. The RBB reported first. The 70-year-old and the six-month-old child have been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
The two were last seen in the Britzer Garden in Neukölln. The police are searching the area with numerous forces, the spokesman said. All available means would be used for the search, including, according to the information, a police helicopter and search dogs. The fire department is also on site.
The police assume that the 70-year-old is the grandmother of the child. However, this cannot be said with certainty, the spokesman said. (tsp)
